If anybody else saw the same early stories I did on Tuesday declaring Theo Epstein had agreed to terms on a new contract with the Red Sox ... then you were pretty shocked later that night when the news came that he had decided to walk away! ... unbelievable.
His reasons for doing so -- he basically burned out, and that's if he's being sincere -- are understandable ...
